West Branch of the Susquehanna |
|
In June of 2006, I traveled approximately 150 miles on the Western Branch of the Susquehanna River in a 17' Grumman canoe. I started at the nude beach and ended in Sunbury. This part of the river is considered dead due to the coal pollution from the surrounding area and is a National River Trail. Soon, I hope to complete the main stem from Cooperstown, NY, to Harrisburg, PA.
